Understanding Your Poop Score
One simple way to diagnose if your gut is out of line is to examine your poop. Pictured here is the Bristol Score. The magic number is #4, where your stool is neither watery nor rock solid. A healthy, balanced gut leads produces consistent #4s.
If your stool is closer to a #1, you have a flow problem. If your stool is closer to a #7, your gut is irritated. Gut Clean can address both ends of this spectrum by cleaning out irritants, gently activating digestion, balancing acid levels, and rebuilding your gut lining.
If you have chronic diahrea lasting longer than 72 hours, you should consult a physician to determine whether you have a bacterial or viral problem.

The Gut Domino Effect
The digestion system breaks down when stress in combination with complex food, water quality, hormones, and medication (especially antibiotics!) throws off the delicate balance of the gut. Enzymes, pH, lubrication, muscle contractions and gut bacteria must work together for the gut to properly function.
Doctors are faced with a complex decision tree to diagnose where the system is breaking down. Most supplements, such as probiotics and enzymes, only address one layer of the problem, when the vast majority of the time there is a chain reaction breaking down the system.
Gut Clean restores multiple levels of the digestive system simultaneously, enabling you to reset and take control.

When should I take it?
When should I take it?
In our surveys, we’ve found that taking Gut Clean in the evening is the best way to start the cycle as it results in calmer sleep as a result of “kick starting” digestion, ensuring morning bathroom trips and easing acid reflux symptoms. If you are experiencing regular acid reflux or wake up with stomach pain, we also recommend avoiding eating, especially acidic foods, within a few hours before bed time.
If you are really ambitious about your gut goals, the best method would be to take Gut Clean at the beginning of a fasting cycle. Depending on your nutrition level, 24-hour water fasts are a great way to get back in tune with your digestive system.
How does it combine with other supplements?
How does it combine with other supplements?
While we cannot list every possible combination of supplement combinations that result in positive and negative results, there are a few general rules: (1) generic multivitamins and A, B2/6/12, C, D are fine and encouraged; (2) more probiotics are fine, but are not necessary as we’ve included a good balance; (3) if you’re taking significant quantities of soluble fiber or any laxatives, monitor loose stools and pull back on Gut Clean if your stools become too watery. As with any supplement, it’s important to speak with your physician first for a more comprehensive review.
Can I take more than the recommended dosage?
Can I take more than the recommended dosage?
As with almost everything you eat, there is a tipping point with the gut where too much of a good thing will push the limits. Taking Gut Clean in the morning and evening is acceptable for normal healthy people, and splitting those doses with meals can also be beneficial to ease GI issues associated with eating symptom-triggering foods. However, taking more Gut Clean all at once won’t necessarily speed up the benefits. Decreasing intake of processed, sugary (pay attention to fructose levels), sticky (yes, too much peanut butter qualifies), fatty, and combinations of highly acidic foods is generally a better alternative to trying to increase the dosage to lessen the side effects of over-consumption.
When should I not take it?
When should I not take it?
If you have diarrhea, wait for your stool to solidify to take Gut Clean.
If you are having severe GI pain, bloody stools, vomiting or are taking medication, it is critical that you consult with a physician first.
